The No. 24 Lady Indians dropped a 9-0 decision to No. 13 Coastal Alabama-South.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The No. 24 Lady Indians dropped a 9-0 decision to No. 13 Coastal Alabama-South.
In doubles action, Coastal Alabama-South claimed all three courts to take an early 3-0 advantage. At No. 1, Agostina Pizarro and Melina Vazquez fell, 8-4; Addi Joshlin and Breanne Sparks were dropped an 8-0 at No. 2; and Ava Moore and Ava Logan fell at No. 3, 8-0.
In singles play, Pizarro fell 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1, and Vazquez dropped a 6-3, 6-1 match at No. 2. At No. 3, Joshlin battled but came up short, 6-0, 6-7 [0-0].
Sparks fell 6-4, 6-0 at No. 4, while Logan was defeated 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5. Moore rounded out the match at No. 6, dropping a 6-0, 6-0 decision.
