Cooke signs with The W
Itawamba Community College sophomore Kathryn Cooke of Amory signed to continue her volleyball career at Mississippi University for Women (The W), Thursday.
Fulton, Miss. – Itawamba Community College sophomore Kathryn Cooke of Amory signed to continue her volleyball career at Mississippi University for Women (The W), Thursday.
The defensive specialist played in 18 games and recorded 33 digs, 10 service aces, seven assists and two kills during her time at ICC.
In her freshman season, Cooke helped the Indians to a 19-12 record to advance to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Gulf District Tournament.
Last season, Cooke and the Indians finished 16-11 and advanced to the NJCAA Region 23 playoffs.
Cooke joins the Owls, who compete in the United States Collegiate Athletic Conference. They advanced to the conference tournament last season.
