Indians fall to Snead State

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Indians (3-4, 0-0 MACCC) dropped their last game of the Chattanooga State Invitational, Saturday, in a 3-0 decision against Snead State (4-3) in three sets (21-25; 21-25; 22-25).
On the attack, Bree Lyons (Oxford) led ICC with 11 kills while Lexi Pendleton (Germantown, Tenn.) added eight to the stat sheet.
Kensley Woolbright (New Hope) recorded a team-best 12 digs followed by Kylie Graham (Moulton, Ala.), nine; Natalie Nix (Florence, Ala.) and Lyons, eight each.
Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) led the Indians with 15 assists, Graham had 13.
The Indians will be back in action on Sept. 6 at the Alabama-Mississippi Crossover Tournament at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Ala. They will face Bevill State at 1 p.m. and Wallace State at 5 p.m.
