SENATOBIA, Miss. – The Indians suffered their first conference loss of the season on Monday night, falling to Northwest in three sets (19-25; 12-25; 20-25).
Bree Lyons (Oxford) and Lexi Pendleton (Germantown, Tenn.) tied for a team-best eight kills while McLaine Dorr (Gluckstadt) and Michael Ann East (Oxford) each added five.
On the serve, Kensley Woolbright (New Hope) led the Indians with 10 digs, and Lyons added seven. Kaydee Vaughn (Florence, Ala.) and Pendleton each had three assists.
Next up, the Indians will back in action Oct. 2 when they travel to Ellisville to take on Jones at 5 p.m.
