Volleyball named MACCC Academic Team of the Year

FULTON, Miss. – The Itawamba Community College volleyball team has earned 2024-25 Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Academic Team of the Year recognition for its sport, the conference announced Monday.
The Indians finished the 2024-25 school year with a 3.625 grade-point-average as a team while finishing the 2024 season 19-11 overall and 7-3 in MACCC play along with an appearance in the semifinal round of the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament. The team's 19 wins tied a program record for most in a season since 2021.
