FULTON, Miss. - The Lady Indians battled ninth-ranked Jones College to a scoreless draw Friday afternoon in Fulton, earning its first conference point of the season.
The Lady Indians created pressure throughout the match, finishing with 13 shots and eight on goal, but were unable to break through against the nationally ranked Lady Bobcats. Annabelle Holman kept ICC in control defensively, recording six saves to secure the shutout.
ICC moved to 3-2-2 overall and 0-1-1 in conference play.
The Lady Indians will face their third-straight ranked opponent when they travel to Senatobia to take on No. 1 Northwest on Tuesday.
