Hanceville, Ala. – After dropping an intense battle with the number one team in the country, the Indians had a quick turnaround and fell 3-0 to a talented Mineral Area team.
Mineral Area picked up the victory, winning the sets 25-13, 25-14 and 25-22.
Zakhia Taylor (Olive Branch) led the Indians with seven kills, followed by Brianna Williams (Olive Branch) and Lauryn Fitzgerald (Nesbit) with six kills each.
Morgan Lee (Olive Branch) had a team-high 14 assists followed by Karli Rae Rushing (Fayette, Ala.) with 11.
Londyn Bakeris (Olive Branch) lead in the Indians with 7 digs.
