FAYETTE, Ala. – The Indians made quick work of Coastal Alabama-North on Friday, September 15 when they took the first three sets over the Eagles (25-22; 25-15; 25-21).
Sadie Stegall's (Pontotoc) 10 kills led the way for the team with Aubrey Swanson (Corinth) having eight and Abbi Upchurch (Starkville) having seven. Ashelyn Isbell (Corinth) and Anna Grace White (Lexington, Ala.) each had four kills.
The Indians gathered a total of 74 digs in the three-set match with Kensley Woolbright (Columbus) having the most with 22 while Bree Lyons (Oxford) had 17. Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) followed her teammates with 11 digs of her own and Audrey Hamill (Pontotoc) also added nine to the statsheet.
