CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Itawamba Community College volleyball team dropped its first match of the Chattanooga State Invitational in a 3-0 decision against John A. Logan (6-1), in three sets (21-25; 13-25; 18-25).
Michael Ann East (Oxford) led the Indians (2-2, 0-0 MACCC) on the attack with 11 kills while Bree Lyons (Oxford) added seven.
On the serve, Lyons had a team-best 14 digs while Kensley Woolbright (New Hope) contributed 13, and Natalie Nix (Florence, Ala.), seven.
Madasen McCaig (Belmont) led ICC with four assists, and Kylie Graham (Moulton, Ala.) and Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) each added three.
The Indians will face No. 12 Wallace State at 4 p.m. for their second match of the day.
