SUMMITT, Miss. - The Indians battled Southwest Mississippi on Friday night in a five-set showdown, ultimately falling 3-2, with the final line of 26-24, 18-25, 27-25, 19-25, 12-15.
Michael Ann East (Oxford) led the ICC attack with 14 kills, while Nala Salter (Flowood) added nine kills and anchored the back row with 10 digs. Kaydee Vaughn (Florence, AL) contributed seven kills and three blocks, and McLaine Dorr (Madison) added seven kills and five digs. Fisher Enis (Brandon) ran the offense efficiently, recording 21 assists and five service aces.
Ella Grace Phillips (Amory) and Maggie Miller (Marion, AR) combined for 20 service points and 19 digs, while Chloe Carr (FLora) chipped in 13 digs. The Indians totaled 84 digs in the match.
