FULTON, Miss. – The Indians continued its strong stretch of play Wednesday night, sweeping rival Northeast Mississippi 3–0 (25–16, 25–18, 25–23) at the Davis Event Center.
ICC (10–9, 5–5 MACCC) controlled the match from the start, hitting .294 in the opening set and keeping steady pressure on the Tigers (5–17, 3–7). Ella Grace Phillips led ICC with 12 kills and 16 digs, while Michael Ann East added six kills on a .294 clip.
Maggie Miller steered the offense with 18 assists and three aces, and fellow Fisher Enis contributed 14 assists and two aces in a balanced attack. McLaine Dorr and Ivyaan Taylor each tallied multiple block assists to anchor the front line.
Defensively, ICC held Northeast to just .070 hitting and forced 25 attack errors.
