GULF SHORES, Ala. — ICC fought off a tough Bishop State squad Friday morning, claiming a 3–1 victory (25–23, 25–20, 23–25, 25–19).
The Indians hit .247 as a team, paced by Kadence Rolston and McLaine Dorr, each recording 10 kills. Michael Ann East also added 10 kills, while Kaydee Vaughn contributed seven kills and three block assists. Ella Grace Phillips led the back row with seven digs and six block assists.
Maggie Miller distributed 22 assists and added one dig, while Fisher Enis contributed 18 assists and 12 digs, keeping ICC's offense consistent throughout the match. Nala Salter and Ivyaan Taylor added key kills, helping the Indians maintain control at critical junctures.
Bishop State pushed ICC in the third set, but the Indians responded in the fourth to close out the win.
