Sophomore Terrance Jones (Burce) earned Defensive MVP honors for the North after recording seven tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks in a 21-10 loss to the South in the MACJC All-Star Football Game this past Saturday in Biloxi.
The Itawamba Community College football team will be well-represented in the 2015 MACJC All-Star Game on Saturday. The All-Star event is hosted Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in conjunction with the Mississippi Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:30 at Biloxi Indian Stadium.
Freshman running back Octavious Matthews (Stevenson, AL) rushed for 115 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries and caught two passes for 84 yards and two more touchdowns in Itawamba Community College's 49-7 Homecoming victory over Coahoma Community College on Saturday.
