From start to finish, ICC was in control.
Michael Ann East (Oxford) carried the offense with 10 kills and a .474 hitting percentage. McLaine Dorr (Madison) added 9 kills and 10 points. Ella Grace Phillips (Amory) was nearly perfect, going 5-for-9 with a .556 clip. Kadence Rolston (Florence, AL) and Molly Burchell (Rogersville, AL) chipped in key points to keep the pressure on.
Fisher Enis (Brandon) ran the show with 17 assists and 8 aces. Maggie Miller (Marion, AR) added 16 assists and 2 more aces. Abby Hannon (Amory) made her presence felt with 3 kills and 2 service points.
Defense was just as sharp. Chloe Carr (Flora) led with 9 digs. Phillips and Nala Salter (Flowood) added 5 each. The Indians' net presence was strong with 4 combined block assists from Rolston and East.
Team numbers told the story. ICC had 40 kills, 10 aces, 42 digs, and a .341 hitting percentage. Dyersburg State never found an answer, finishing with just 12 kills and a negative clip in the third set.
