Indians Bounce Back with Win over East Central
The Indians rebounded in a big way Monday night, taking down East Central 3–1 (25–14, 25–17, 20–25, 25–14) in Decatur.

DECATUR, Miss. – The Indians rebounded in a big way Monday night, taking down East Central 3–1 (25–14, 25–17, 20–25, 25–14) in Decatur.
ICC came out firing, hitting .419 in the opening set and never letting the Warriors find a rhythm. Ella Grace Phillips led the charge with 13 kills on a .423 clip, while McLaine Dorr followed with 10 kills and five blocks.
Fisher Enis directed the offense with 27 assists and added two aces, helping the Indians control tempo throughout. Maggie Miller and Kaydee Vaughn each chipped in two aces, and Vaughn added five kills and five block assists for a well-rounded performance.
Defensively, Chloe Carr and Phillips anchored the back line with 12 digs apiece as ICC held East Central to just .014 hitting for the match.
After dropping a close third set, the Indians closed strong with a 25–14 finish in the fourth to seal the victory.
The Indians will host rival Northeast on Wednesday.
