The Itawamba Community College volleyball team dropped its second match of the Chattanooga State Invitational in a 3-1 decision against No. 12 Wallace State in four sets (19-25; 22-25; 25-22; 23-25).
The Indians suffered their first loss of the season, 3-1, at Pellissippi State on Thursday in four sets (21-25; 17-25; 25-22; 18-25).
It went down to the wire when Itawamba Community College’s volleyball team took a 3-2 win over Calhoun on Friday, in five sets (25-27; 28-30; 25-20; 25-12; 15-13).
Last season, Itawamba Community College’s volleyball program finished 15-19 overall and 2-4 in MACCC play as well as made an appearance in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament. This year, the Indians look to make even further strides on the court.
